Lichfield based Reeves Green approached the Staffordshire Business Loan Fund to help achieve a re-brand and sustained growth. After 30 years in marketing communications, delivering topical creativity and ‘on the pulse’ strategies, they are now ready for the next 30 years.
Colin Reeves, Creative Director, said: “We saw a growth opportunity for the business and knew that we had to grab it with both hands. We needed finance for a really positive business development and that’s where the Staffordshire Business Loan Fund came into its own.”
The Staffordshire Business Loan Fund is run in partnership with Staffordshire County Council and BCRS. Loans of between £10,000 and £50,000 are available, but only to viable Staffordshire businesses already turned away by the banks.
The fund was recognised as the best economic regeneration project in 2012 at the Southern Staffordshire Regeneration Awards, run by the Southern Staffordshire Partnership. Staffordshire’s Business Loan Fund has supported over 80 businesses since it started in 2009 and has created 200 jobs and safeguard over 400.
“BCRS were exemplary throughout our loan enquiry. They really understood our business, responded quickly and decisively and allowed us to reach our goals with a minimum of red tape. What I would say to any business out there looking for finance is –don’t hesitate to talk to BCRS. Instead enjoy a fast response from the word ‘go’ and relish the opportunity to focus attention on your business”, concluded Colin.
