What information do we collect about you?
We collect, use, share and store information about you and your business when you make an enquiry for a business loan through BCRS. If your loan application is successful, we will continue to monitor your loan activity until the debt is repaid. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback, or if you fail to make payments on time.
How will we use the information about you?
We use the data you have provided internally to assess, disburse and monitor your loans. This includes ensuring that we meet our legal and regulatory requirements. We only share a limited amount of data with a small number of trusted organisations who are vital in their support of BCRS. We do not buy or sell Personal Data.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. We always want the information we hold about you to be up to date and accurate. If any of the information we hold is either incorrect or out of date, please contact us or complete an online form here and we will amend it straight away.
How long do we hold your information?
We will store information for no longer than is necessary to meet our contractual obligations for the loans that we provide. This will mean that we will continue to hold some information for a period of time after your account has closed or our relationship has ended. This is to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations to keep records of our relationship, to resolve disputes, or where we have contractual stipulations with our funders.
