BCRS Business Loans has announced that its team has increased to 17 in response to plans to increase lending to £10 million per annum in the next three years.
Laura Evans joins BCRS in a full time capacity as Office Administrator and will be the first point of contact for anyone calling the BCRS office. Meanwhile Wenyu Liu and Kieran Munnelly have joined the finance team on a three month and twelve month internship respectively.
The additional three members of staff were welcomed by chief executive Paul Kalinauckas, who said the positions had become available thanks to the continued growth.
Reflecting the progressive, co-operative nature of BCRS Business Loans, we are committed to providing internship opportunities to strengthen the employability of students with promising prospects as finance professionals. Moreover, we ensure all of interns receive the National Living Wage and fair holiday entitlement.
BCRS Business Loans lent over £6.5 million in 2015 and, as a result, was able to generate an extra £60 million in the West Midlands economy.
Speaking of her new role, Laura said: “I have over 10 years’ experience in customer service – predominantly in the retail sector – so I look forward to building relationships with all customers and stakeholders that come into contact with BCRS. The team have been very welcoming and have been willing to help me at any opportunity”.
Kieran will predominately be assisting in our financial modelling development alongside portfolio management and development, while Wenyu will be assisting with management information and financial modelling development.
As BCRS Business Loans continues to grow there are likely to be more recruitment opportunities for people who are driven by the opportunity of providing access to finance to SMEs across the Midlands. Please be sure to check the Vacancies page on our website for updates.
