We believe in supporting entrepreneurship, which is why we took the step of sponsoring the Outstanding Commitment Award at this year’s Shropshire Young Enterprise Awards and the Best Finance Award at Worcestershire Young Enterprise Awards.

Our congratulations go to the winners, who demonstrated tenacity and dedication in their roles at the newly formed student businesses.

The Young Enterprise Companies were a credit to their respective schools and, from what we heard, it sounds like they learnt a lot from taking part in the initiative.

Young Enterprise is a charity organisation that was set up to foster and promote entrepreneurship among students, enabling them to develop practical personal and business skills. By establishing their own student businesses, working as a team, taking a specific role within the company and going out to sell the items, they are able to learn important skills.
