BCRS Business Loans is extending into the Three Counties to support businesses turned down by the banks after appointing a new locally based Business Development Manager.
The not-for-profit lender, established in 2002, has kick-started the year by reaffirming its commitment to leaving no viable business unsupported with Angie Preece joining its Business Development Team to support the funding needs of businesses in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Oxfordshire.
Boasting over 25 years’ experience with the UK’s leading banks, building societies and mortgage lenders, Angie joins BCRS Business Loans with a vast amount of experience in the commercial lending arena.
“I have a passion for supporting the funding needs of local businesses. I want to provide SMEs with finance because they truly have viable growth plans, rather than whether they satisfy computer based credit scoring systems.
“After gaining extensive experience of working with businesses in the Three Counties – across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire & Herefordshire – I am able to adapt my knowledge to support their lending needs and fully understand their business goals. The fact that BCRS Business Loans is renowned for a personal, relationship based approach to lending and has had such a positive impact of over £60 million on the regional economy makes this role particularly exciting,” said Angie.
Through dedicated Business Loan Funds, BCRS Business Loans provide local businesses with access to finance, with loans ranging from £10,000 to £150,000. Specifically, support is pledged for SMEs that are unable to source finance from traditional lenders, such as banks.
Paul Kalinauckas, Chief Executive of BCRS Business Loans, said: “I am delighted to welcome Angie to our team. She brings with her a wealth of experience in the SME funding sector that will prove pivotal in bridging the funding gap for many businesses in the Three Counties and surrounding areas.
“BCRS Business Loans and Angie share a common passion; to provide funding that will ultimately liberate businesses and help them prosper.
“With the new Business Loan Funds that have been especially designed to meet the needs of businesses in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, we are excited about the prospects of backing local entrepreneurs,” concluded Paul.
