BCRS have contributed over £60 million to the West Midlands economy in the last year through their delivery of business loans to SME’s by creating over 400 jobs and safeguarding over 1,000.*
The West Midlands based lender provides business loans ranging from £10,000 to £100,000 and their sole purpose is to provide access to finance to enable businesses to grow and prosper. Loans are offered to businesses making a positive contribution to the social, environmental or economic well-being of the West Midlands.
BCRS Chief Executive, Paul Kalinauckas, said; “BCRS have had a powerful impact on the economy of our region. Central to our role as a loan provider is the local impact as a result of our invested capital.
“Impact measurement is integrated into BCRS’s investment process in a number of ways. One of our first steps in the loan procedure is to determine the effect that this loan will not only have on the business but the bearing it will have on the people and businesses residing and working in the local vicinity.”
BCRS’s loan funds has been especially designed to meet the needs of West Midland’s based businesses that are unable to get loans from traditional sources and will lend to most market sectors including construction, engineering, IT services, manufacturing, service providers and wholesalers.
“As we forge into the future we look to continue to grow and serve the needs of SME’s with access to finance and we will still be very much focused on the impact of our lending when it comes to creating employment and wealth in our local communities”, concludes Paul.
