A stamp of approval from the Stoke-on-Trent Business Loan Fund signals a bright future for a local branding, digital and design agency.
Exesios Ltd have supported clients for over 17 years and initially approached the city loan fund after finding it difficult to secure finance from a high street lender.
The Trentham based company specialises in branding, digital advertising, digital design, website development and photography, and highlighted a need for additional funding to create two new full-time jobs and improve cash flow.
After meeting the directors to discuss their proposals, the Stoke-on-Trent Business Loan Fund reviewed the company’s needs and offered its support.
The Fund, run by Stoke-on-Trent City Council and BCRS Business Loans, was specifically set up to support local small businesses that were unable to access finance from traditional lenders. Loans from £10,000 to £50,000 are available for businesses operating in most market sectors.
Paul Brammer, managing director of Exesios Ltd, said: “I would have no hesitation in recommending BCRS and the Stoke-on-Trent Business Loan Fund; it was a life-saver for us! After our suppliers hiked their prices, we needed this facility in place to fulfil orders.

Zoe Wilkinson, who is the loan officer for Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, was impressed with Exesios from their initial face-to-face meeting.
