BCRS were proud to host another Pint After Work networking event on Thursday 21st May, held at the Noah’s Ark in Hartshill, which consistently proves to be an excellent venue for accommodating this event.
A Pint After Work offers a refreshingly informal setting, distancing itself from the corporate networking events usually on offer. Although guests are attending to ultimately form working relationships that will be of benefit on a corporate level, they can initiate this in a relaxed environment, over a pint or even a soft drink.
On this occasion we were able to attract over 25 people to join us between 5:30 and 7:30pm, and we are hoping to build on this number for the next event – which we will inform you of in due course.
Zoe Wilkinson, Business Development Manager at BCRS, said, “I would like to thank everybody who came to Pint After Work. As a Business Development Manager based in Stoke on Trent, it is always great to meet up for a chat with other business people from across the area – whether you drop by for half an hour or stay for 2 hours.
“I was also pleased to see some new faces there. I do hope you all enjoyed the evening and took something positive away from this event, or perhaps a useful new contact. BCRS are planning to make Pint After Work in Stoke bigger and better, so please join us at our next meeting at the same venue. I look forward to meeting you again – and remember, the first drink is on us!”
We are yet to confirm the date for our next event in Stoke, but as soon as one is arranged we will make you all aware via email invitations. If you would like to ensure you are included on the mailing list for any upcoming events, please notify us by emailing Events@bcrs.org.uk
