BCRS Business Loans will be bringing representatives from the West Midlands business community together for a popular lunch event in Worcester in June.
Business colleagues from across the region are invited to gather for BCRS’s Summer Worcestershire Diners Club (WDC) networking lunch at Worcester Racecourse in Grand Stand Road on Thursday 6 June, from 11.30am to 2.15pm.
Guests will enjoy a two-course meal and the opportunity to network with professionals and hear from guest speaker Samantha Fletcher-Goodwin, a BBC presenter, author, speaker, and founder of the charity Kids’ Village.
BCRS Business Loans works with companies to enable them to secure loans from between £10,000 and £150,000 to support growth and recovery plans.
Business Development Manager Angie Preece, who covers the Worcestershire region, will co-host the event.

Since BCRS Business Loans was founded in 2002, it has provided loans worth more than £85 million to businesses. A social impact report for 2022-23 showed that BCRS lent £6.5m to 72 businesses, safeguarding 999 jobs and creating 473 roles, adding £33.7m in value to the economy of the West Midlands and surrounding regions.
The report showed that 50 per cent of funding went to the UK’s top 35 per cent most disadvantaged areas, with 16 per cent going to female-led businesses and 14 per cent to ethnic minority-led firms.
BCRS’s last Diners Club event at Worcester Racecourse in November saw more than 50 business guests from across the region in attendance. The event included a presentation from guest speaker Ann Price, Director of Information and Finance at Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire, who gave an overview of the charity’s work in the region and its drive to work with business partners.
